firekid is....

I don't know what firekid is or rather how to describe them, besides being fronted by Dillon Hodges and hailing from the state of Alabama, firekid is a unique sound combining folk and electronic which sometimes includes a game boy, in other words something you just really need to hear. I had the pleasure of getting to see them open for The Mowgli's in Dekalb and tonight they're going to be opening a show at Martyrs. I highly recommend going if you can, firekid boasts a high energy set you need to see.
