a little late night post for one of my fav small businesses 💌

It’s been such a joy being a part of the crew over the past few years❣️I started doing photos for the shop around this time last year. I had never really done product photography before, but I quickly fell in love with teaming up with to capture her concepts, ideas, and dreams for the shop.

Each photo feels like a love letter to the small business that has made a big impact on my life. I’ve created so many wonderful memories here, made amazing friends, met so many people I’ve admired, helped out with some crazy cool displays, and just have had so much fun! I’m so thankful for everyone who supports us at FC and everyone who has supported me here in my own photography journey!

Losing my mind over how incredible last weekend was! Being a part of this amazing group, surrounded by mountains, and sooooo much love was a dream come true. I’m truly so honored to have been taken along with 🙂 Haley and Meg, love you big and congratulations friends!

Cannot wait to celebrate these cuties this weekend!!! I met Haley and Meg when I photographed Haley’s sister’s wedding a few years ago (hiiii Ally and MyKayla!!) and now I’m getting all emotional about the fact that I’m able to photograph H + M’s wedding as well! 🧡🧡🧡

Happy Tuesday 🌞 Just scanned a ton of film after sitting on it for months. Well… it’s been two years actually since I finished this roll in Spain! Can’t believe our Spain trip was already two years ago, time is so strange! This church in Toledo was so stunning, dying to go back there one day! Bringing the rolleiflex on this trip was the right choice even if I had wayyyy too many cameras. Can’t wait to share more :)

First shoot of 2025 of course was with one of my favorite people 💘 Gracie was one of my first Chicago pals and is an incredible photographer (please go check out her stunning work !!!!) Back in January we did a lil headshot swap and had so much fun playing around between digital, film, and polaroids. Everyone say thank you Gracie for my new headshot 🙂‍↕️🧡

Hey all :)

Been a while since I’ve been here. It’s been a wild half a year for me personally and I know that’s true for a lot of you as well. Over the past year, I have been feeling so burnt out and unsure about what I was doing with photography and if investing so much time + money into a business was worth it.

It really reflected in the way I was handling clients/business and I was embarrassed!!! So I did a soft quit of sorts, just tried to climb out of my burnout and feel like a person again. Honestly I’m still working on it. I’m very grateful to have the best support system/community who have given me lots of cheering on, grace, and patience.

Photography has always been a safe and beautiful place for me. I’m lucky to be able to put so much love into this type of work and the connections that I’ve made through it. I’m working hard on getting back to a place that I feel proud of and being able to give time and energy back into this love of mine.

Now that I’ve shared a lil novel with you, I hope to be around a little more on here :) If you’ve supported me in any way, just know it means the world to me! Hoping to hold you all a little closer this year, share your stories, and create some lovely moments with you!
