Sean Connery had ‘no life’ in his final months – but on his deathbed, the Bond star’s final wish came true ❤️

For decades, Sean Connery was known around the world as the original James Bond — the suave Scottish actor who became a Hollywood legend.

But in his final years, the man behind 007 was living a very different life.

Connery died peacefully at his home in the Bahamas in October 2020, aged 90. He had been struggling with dementia, and according to his wife, Micheline Roquebrune, the condition had taken much of his ability to communicate.

“It was no life for him,” she later said. “He was not able to express himself latterly.”

But there was one thing that brought comfort in those final moments: Micheline was there.

The couple had been married for 45 years, and she remained by his side until the very end.

She recalled that Connery simply slipped away peacefully in his sleep.

“At least he died in his sleep and it was just so peaceful,” she said. “I was with him all the time and he just slipped away. It was what he wanted.”

And even though Connery had spent decades living around the world, he never forgot where he came from.

Scotland was always home.

After his death, Micheline revealed that she intended to honor one of his final wishes — to bring him back to his beloved homeland.

“We are going to bring Sean back to Scotland – that was his final wish,” she said.

His ashes were ultimately to be scattered in both places that had meant so much to him: the Bahamas, where he had spent his final years, and Scotland, the country that had shaped the man he became.

From a poor childhood in Edinburgh to becoming the first James Bond, an Oscar winner and one of the most recognizable actors in the world, Connery's life had come full circle.

And in the end, after all the fame and fortune, his final wish was remarkably simple.

A doctor told Pamela Anderson she probably had 10 years left to live. She was in her 30s, with two young sons.

For decades, the Baywatch icon was one of the most famous faces on the planet. But behind the glamour, Pamela was carrying a diagnosis she says turned her entire life inside out.

She was diagnosed with hepatitis C in the late 1990s, at a time when there was no cure. And while the thought of dying was frightening, she says it wasn’t the fear of death that haunted her most. It was the fear of what would happen to her young children if she wasn’t there. 💔

Now, in a raw and emotional speech at the amfAR Gala in Venice, where she was honored with the Award of Courage, Pamela has opened up about what those years did to her.

She admitted that the diagnosis shaped, and even clouded, many of her decisions. Then came the turning point. A cure was finally discovered in 2011, and by 2015 she was hep C free. But it didn’t come easily. She revealed the treatment cost her everything she had in the bank, because insurance didn’t cover it yet, and she’s still haunted by guilt that others couldn’t get the same chance.

Even now, she says, the shame and guilt stay with her.

But Pamela refuses to be defined by it. Through her work and her art, she’s found her strength again, and she ended her speech with a message that brought the room to its feet: “I’m not a victim, I’m a victor.” 👏

They were young, wild, and full of fire, Weekends started with rock ‘n’ roll and ended under the stars.
Parties happened in basements, backyards, or wherever the music played loud.
The guys rolled up in shiny Chevys and Mustangs, engines growling like thunder.
The girls wore miniskirts, teased hair, and smiles that could stop traffic.
Dancing wasn’t optional it was freedom in motion.
Soda pop in hand, vinyl spinning, and not a care in the world.
They lived fast, laughed hard, and loved the moment.
For the Boomers, youth wasn’t just a phase✨️✨️🤞

I wish I could rewind time, land in the 1970s, and never come back. That’s where my heart truly belongs.

Back to a time when life had rhythm, soul, and color.
When the music made you move without thinking
Funky beats, smooth disco, and rock that echoed freedom.

The fashion, Wild and fearless.
Bell bottoms that danced in the wind,
Tie-dye shirts, big hair, and platform shoes that made you feel ten feet tall.

Weekends meant block parties, roller skates, and laughter that echoed down the street.
People talked face-to-face, not screen-to-screen.
And somehow, everything felt simpler… and more alive.

Yes, take me back.
To the heart of the ‘70s
Where the world grooved, love flowed freely, and forever felt possible.🤞

-Still somehow dragged themselves to work the next morning.

I knew a place called Yesterday, Where once I used to live.
Nobody there would turn away Their time, they'd always give.
Everyone looked out for you ,As you did the same for them,
In that place called Yesterday, I can still remember when.
People never had anything much What they did have, it was shared.
We wrote letters by hand and mailed them.
They always waved and gave a smile, That's how we knew they cared.
We used to call it mucking in, That's what it was all about.
We had to wait for movie night or go to the drive-in.
It was easier to help each other When all you had was nowt.
Now I live here in the Present, In a street of those unknown,
Whose life is so much easier they keep it close to home.
Yes, I was raised in Yesterday Where we always had respect.
Here in this place called Present I find it suffering from neglect!

Friday nights were for jukebox tunes, cruising in shiny cars, and sharing milkshakes at the local diner.
Saturday mornings kicked off with cartoons, then kids grabbed their bikes or skates and hit the streets.
Afternoons meant beaches, ball games, or just hanging out where the music played loud.
When night came, it was all about backyard barbecues, dance parties, and laughter under the stars.
Sundays slowed down with church, home-cooked meals, and family time around the radio or TV.🤠
