Summer is officially over but the memories aren’t going anywhere. I had a great time this summer embracing the moments and slowing down a bit. Every part of this trip felt like stepping through a postcard. Collecting moments the way you’d pick out a post card from your travels.

Chicago Parks District Presents: City Wide Boxing 🥊

Some seriously talented youth boxers went toe-to-toe in the Chicago Park District’s Citywide Boxing Showcase, a program running across 20 parks throughout the city. These shots are from the August 6th stop at Daley Plaza. This was a wild one of a kind setting packed with spectators and rising skyscrapers on every side. Huge respect to these young fighters putting in the work, and to the coaches and Chicago Park District staff making this program possible.

Cologne, Germany | Summer 2026

First time in Cologne and using the Q2. There was so much character at every turn here and I wish I had more time. Shooting with a Leica for the first time was a great experience; time felt like it slowed down, and working in monochrome only added to that feeling.

Below are some of my favorite shots:

1. The massive Cologne Cathedral, framed from the taxi line on Burgmauer Street.

2. In a sea of scrolling strangers, one glance finds the lens. A candid moment on a busy pedestrian street near the WeinForum/Kaufhof corner.

3. Three women gazing upward toward the cathedral, caught in a moment of quiet awe.

8-9. My favorite shot from the trip — an elderly woman enjoying afternoon tea at a café. The natural light, her outfit, every detail felt perfect. I captured two more frames from this moment that I love just as much.
