Two math teachers who fell in love and had a Pi day wedding, duh! π 🍕

Capturing this day was a dream, everything felt like it fell into place so perfectly. When I met Erin & Ben last year for their engagement shoot, things seemed to just flow so easily. I expected nothing less on their wedding day (weddings are a big responsibility though and I always get nervous too!) but this day was different. As soon as I arrived, everyone was calm and just seemed eager to celebrate Erin and Ben’s love for each other. There were so many emotional highs throughout the day that I almost cried behind the camera a few times. It’s such an amazing thing to FEEL a couple who genuinely love one another. Days like these really make me appreciate photography all over again

PIERCE THE VEIL 6.7.25 IN CHICAGO

If you know me, you know that Pierce the veil has been my favorite band for 15+ years. The first time I saw them was at Vans Warped Tour in 2010 where I had to beg my mom to let me go (lol). I saw them again in the fall of that year and I took pictures on my BlackBerry phone and my Nikon coolpix, which is where my love for concert photography really began. Since then I’ve been to countless shows of theirs, and this is about my 4th time being able to photograph them. This one was really special because I look back at all the small intimate shows they’ve played in Chicago over the years and it’s absolutely insane (and well deserved) that they sold out a show of 26,000+ people this weekend. If PTV has 0 fans then I’m dead!!!!
