An abandoned apartment (that was connected to a beautiful historic Theater from the early 1900’s) with multiple black fur blankets, a mattress still covered in plastic. A blinged out red velour couch and martini glasses. Multiple Kenny G burned CD’s….You do the math…😂

I was actually on a businss trip with my boss, and realized this was only a few miles away from where we were staying. Unfortunately, it was her rental car, not mine, so I had to ask if she would be willing to let me stop for a quick explore. She very literally dropped me off and parked to wait for me. She made me promise not to hop any fences…. And amazingly enough, I was able to find a grounds worker to open the gate for me.

Mission accomplished.

Built around 1920, this massive coastal defense complex once held eight 12-inch mortars designed to launch 700-pound shells in high arcs at enemy warships up to roughly 11 miles offshore.

Despite being built for exactly that threat, the battery never fired on an enemy vessel.

Appreciating the details with Decades of Decay USA

This theater held its grand opening in the 1920s, originally used for a variety of purposes, including jazz band dances, opera performances, plays and ballets. Later converted to a cinema and vaudeville theater, it finally closed in the 1990’s.

Wearing those heels.
And I made it!
Without breaking an ankle.
….while she recorded and laughed the whole time. Because THAT is what friends are for. 🖤

Funny how a picture says a thousand words…but you would never imagine how much laughter went into this one.

This is one of the best examples of why I don’t share locations. When you ask me to share locations, I understand your intent and curiosity may be genuine, however, that is not the same for everyone else.

This is the Unicorn Mansion that I shared a video of yesterday.

Two years between my before, and after shots.

Shortly after my first visit here, Some “ explorers” were looking to go viral and they shared this address publicly … and this is what happened .

I was lucky enough to see it when it was pretty much untouched. I heard about the location being leaked and I was able to see it again before it was demolished. The destruction, disrespect and devastation was mind-boggling.

True explorers will never share a location publicly. We appreciate the privilege of seeing and experiencing these places firsthand, and we RESPECT their history. Their PRIVACY.

I share photos and videos with you because I understand that I’m incredibly lucky to see and experience the places that I do. I also respect their privacy.
