I got to meet and photograph Magic Johnson

There is a standard pricing structure in commercial photography which usually consists of 1. A day rate, 2. Production costs (models, locations, assistants, etc), 3. Retouching fees, and 4. Photo licensing fees. Clients who aren't used to hiring commercial photographers are often confused by #4 (photo licensing fees). If someone’s previous experience is with wedding photography, they are surprised and confused that commercial photographers don’t turn over all of their images for the client to use where ever and however they chose.

Buying stock photos from an online site is problematic for a few reasons: 1. They are not tailored to your brand, 2. They are impersonal, and 3. They have little recognition value and are not a good basis for brand loyalty. As a result, stock photos appear untrustworthy because they don't actually target your products and audience. I specialize in photographing custom stock images that are tailored to a company's specific brand. Here is a sample from my latest work with Evolve Security. This shoot took a whole village (my assistant, a producer, an art director, and hired talent to name a few) and I am really proud of how they came out!
