Summers bounty in dappled Renoir-inspired light. This reminds me of summer travels and fruity cocktails under swaying trees. The sound of the rustling leaves in the warm summer breeze.

This was the escape I needed this week.

Did you know that white moths represent loved ones who have passed on? I have been seeing these little guys floating all over my neighborhood this summer.

Times are hard for so many right now. There has been a lot of suffering, sickness and death that is being experienced collectively across the world this year.

I was reflecting on this idea and the conversations I had over the last week while building this still life. It helps to remember that signs of hope are everywhere, if we are open to seeing them.
