Eastbound in front of the Boeing bldg

I was coming out of the Ogilvie transportation center and when I saw the shadows, I realized this was going to be a great black-and-white photo. Taken from my iPhone.

House On The Rock

For the newsletter caption:

When my family and I visited House on the Rock back in May, I grabbed this picture of the American flag alongside the train wheel.
While I was standing there taking it, the automated music room was playing Stars and Stripes Forever. Watching all that intricate clockwork keep churning even after half a century, gave the whole moment a striking weight. On the exhibit itself, the inscription reads ?mighty in strength and endurance.?
That?s what this photo is really about. Just like those complex wheels and gears turning against the odds, the people of this country share that same perseverance?proving that America keeps moving forward, resilient through whatever difficult times come her way.

North Avenue Beach, Chicago, IL

Wanted take pic of the contrast between the open space of a lake and the concrete jungle on a beach. And the colors... its my perception of Chicago, its kinda Gotham City for me.

The Garfield Park Conservatory - Chicago, Illinois USA

When I happened upon these ferns at The Garfield Park Conservatory I immediately saw them in black and white, Ansel Adam?s photo of ferns popped into my mind. I took this one in homage to him.
