Micaela + Ray 🤍
This one is such a full-circle moment for me.
Back in 2022, right after I moved back to Chicago from Colorado, I was early to photograph my very first proposal in the city. While I was waiting, I met Micaela and her family, who were setting up for her cousin’s proposal with rose petals and everything.
They didn’t have a photographer there, so since I was already there, I offered to capture it for them.
Micaela ended up following my work after that, and somehow four years later, I got to photograph her wedding🥹
And on Saturday, I got to see that same family again — including family from the Philippines who had been there for her cousin’s proposal all those years ago. It made the whole thing feel even more full circle.
Who knows if Micaela ever would have found me four years later had we not crossed paths that day, but I’m so grateful I happened to be in the right place at the right time. 🤍
