Honolulu solo work trip recap. 🌴 I’m not going to lie, I was so nervous to fly alone and leave my babies—the mom guilt was definitely kicking in. But I am extremely happy I came because these photos and sets are absolutely gorgeous. I met so many great photographers and the hosts were amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better trip, and I’m so excited to see what these photos bring down the line. 🎞️

Honolulu solo work trip recap. 🌴
I’m not going to lie, I was so nervous to fly alone and leave my babies—the mom guilt was definitely kicking in. But I am extremely happy I came because these photos and sets are absolutely gorgeous. One thing I didn’t fully appreciate about myself until now is how observant I am.

Documentary photography is about more than just the shot—it’s about listening and feeling the room. I notice the things most might miss, and I just happen to have a camera in my hand when they happen. So grateful for the trust my couples place in my eye.

A quiet morning at the museum with these two. definitely one of my favorite backdrops for an engagement session—loving the light and the architecture here.

cabo destination wedding dump 🏝️
on the flight home and still feeling so incredibly blessed. getting to travel and capture love in a place like cabo was my ultimate “pinch me” moment. i’ve been at this for years, but this trip really felt like a milestone—11-year-old sandy would be losing her mind if she could see me now. 🥹
i can’t thank b+m enough for having me and for the absolute trust they’ve given me. can’t wait to deliver the final footage already. and a huge thank you to my man for coming along and being the best assistant—it meant everything to have you there helping me through the weekend.
since i was already out there, i stayed an extra two days after the wedding just to soak it all in and actually relax. it was the perfect way to wrap up such a special trip. 🌊
