Here’s how that happened.
My bestie and roommate Jeff and I got all 90’s gay glammed up and sashayed over to the KIEL to see the Queen of the Gay Mafia as he is known…ELTON JOHN.
Originally we were in the nosebleed section…of course…Us being two broke clubbing kids in the 90’s🍸🍸
We didn’t care it was an opportunity to see Elton again for the 100th time.
I’ve actually lost count how many times I’ve seen him live. For those that haven’t…I’m sorry…for those that have Best Performer Ever…Am I wrong?
With my Mom in Carbondale, Jenn in Chicago…the list goes on❤️
OK…I’m off the Yellow brick road and I’m back.
So we were sitting there sipping on our cocktails and doing blow…I know I know but what else did you expect me to be doing Diet Pepsi and Cotton Candy😇🤣. Let me be clear Jeff was 100% anti drugs but he still put up with my s**t and craziness. What a Saint he was…😇😇😇😇😇😇
So this well dressed man walks by us a few times…Naturally we think…an Elton concert full of gay men. We laugh and get catty about the old dude cruising us.
He stops at my seat and me being afraid of gay men as you all know. Even more in the 90’s I completely blow him off.
I know exactly what I wrote😉BUTTTTTTT you were not to take it in that direction unless you are a dirty bird..🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ok, back again.
So this guy’s story was…”He works for Elton and he was bringing attractive, fashionable young guys to the front row for filming and stuff.” After we stopped laughing and peeing our pants in disbelief we asked him “What do we have to do for these tickets”
He said just go down there…enjoy yourself, have fun and look good.
So after a few more cocktails and a lot more blow we sashayed down there just waiting for security to es**rt us out…oh that was exactly the opposite.
We were es**rted by security and someone else from Elton’s staff giving us the do’s and dont’s of being in the front row and what they expected from us.
I was just glad I wasn’t expected to sleep with anyone for this wonderful life experience🤩🤩🤩🤣🤩🤩🤩
Needless to say we had a fk’ing blast. One of my all time favorite life memories EVVVVVVER.
So many fun times with my bestie Jeff.
I miss him terribly and to this day have been trying to find him. I’ve heard horror stories and just hope none of them are true and he’s living with a husband somewhere in Kansas👨👨👧👧
If anyone knows where he might be I would love to at least know he’s OK?

I hope to share some more before…Actually remind me sometime to tell you a similar story for my Prince concert in Chicago. Maybe the girl who was with me will chime in🤞🏽
