EMP 2025, by the numbers (and the feelings):
This year, our team took 189,693 photographs, delivered 17,063 images across 57 galleries, and filled more than 8TB of hard drives. We traveled for weddings and sessions across 4 states, photographing everywhere from Garfield Park Conservatory to O’Hare, aquariums, mahjong parlors, forests, ballrooms, backyards, and everything in between.
There were crowd-surfing grooms, tearful surprise proposals, musical sessions, iconic wedding dogs, elite babka, and many appearances of the EMP bencher flatlay.
EMP was featured in 20+ publications this year, one post somehow hit 16.6 million views, B-mitzvah season popped off, and I got to photograph so many people I know and love in real life, which never stops feeling surreal.
This year really reminded me how lucky (and privileged) I am to do this. Thank you for trusting me, supporting this little business, and letting me make art with you. Here’s to more love stories in 2026 🤍
