I’ve been photographing STRAPPED since March and y’all really need to nominate them for every possible category because wtf??? A sapphic party that slaps every single time. And they really test my camera with those lights 😂

My way into the drag world was largely through burlesque, and I’m always so jazzed every time I get the opportunity to photograph someone who loves a full face of makeup and a dramatic costume. There are SO SO many drag photographers in chicago that I ADORE and look up to and am inspired by. I’d be honored to even be considered amongst them.

The iconic Pettie Spaghetti wearing the iconic biblically accurate angel headpiece by Josh 🪽

This is a model I trust to pull up with a suitcase of outfit choices I’ve never seen before, and have something that works perfectly. 😩

I did have to learn some new photoshop techniques for this, but it was worth it. 🫡

The Newport Studio is hosting an affordable headshot event with manager Jesse Genito on August 23! (link in bio)

We’ll be using our in-studio paper backdrops, broad lighting, and even a Polaroid for a little take-home gift!
