Question for my fellow small business owners…
Anyone else start their business because they loved their craft… and then suddenly also had to become a “content creator”?
Because same.
I love photographing weddings, families, new babies, the fleeting seasons of life. I love delivering galleries my clients will treasure forever and look back on years from now, something their children and grandchildren can look at decades from now. I love the art of it. My vision coming to life.
What I don’t love so much is the pressure to constantly produce content just to stay “relevant” in an algorithm.
Some days feel like I’m supposed to be a photographer, marketer, videographer, editor, writer, and social media strategist all at once.
BUT! The most important part of my job has always been the people in front of my camera, not the app on my phone.
So if I’m a little quiet on here sometimes, just know I’m busy doing the work: photographing beautiful clients, editing, planning sessions, and serving my clients the best I can.
I love to share the moments that matter, but I can’t keep up with forced content just to feed the machine.
