John,
You shot our wedding 10 years ago. The photo below is framed and featured prominently in our home.
It is the best and most meaningful wedding photo I've ever seen. Why...
I remember the exact moment you took the photo.
You were standing on the other side of us, near the man with the red camera. You seemed to sense I was about to dip Lisa, and you tore like a rabbit to the other side of us to get this shot.
Because you did that, look at the people in the background. Three of four people to our left are in the wedding party, and the bridesmaid to the right of the red camera guy has the most adorable expression.
You could have settled, but it's clear that the art mattered to you. Fair play to you!
There are so many other wonderful photos from that day, both formal and casual. The black and white glamour series has photos that our friends and family still post on social media 10 years later. Some have left us and these photos are precious to us and their families.
Thank you John, forever grateful.

TBH the shot in question was not great. I did not expect this dip and as mentioned, ran to grab the shot below. The 2nd shot was after I adjusted on the fly and is more in line with my lighting/composition. All of this (anticipating the dip, relocating, shooting, adjusting settings, and then shooting again happened in less than 5 seconds. I hesitated to give them the 1st shot as it wasn't my best. But I realize that sometimes content is more important than art, so I gave them both. 🥰
