Hello, I am Katelyn. Some of my favorite people call me mom or KK. My husband imported me to the Lake Almanor area back in 2009 where grew to love quiet mountain living and this community. I worked as a Dental Assistant and then later became a Dental Hygienist in 2014. This is home to me! 🤍 I enjoy the 4 seasons, the community, and serving you as your local RDH and basin photographer.

I am a busy mommy of two beautiful babies and they were my immediate inspiration to pick up a camera. I am initially self taught but have had some amazing mentors and cheerleaders along the way. I love learning and capturing beautiful moments for folks to cherish forever. Working as a photographer gives me the creativity that my day job does not and that’s why I absolutely love it!

If you have been here a while you may have already know some these fun things about me. Thank you to those who have been here since the infancy of Katelyn Anderson Photography. I am grateful for your continued support. In an effort to grow my business in 2023 you will be seeing me a bit more regularly this year and I am excited to take you all on this journey with me. I am anxious for many more family portraits, senior sessions and maybe even a wedding or two. I have some exciting things in store. Come along with me. 👋🏼
