A couple weeks ago, I was invited to a styled shoot at the Rod n Reel resort, alongside some amazing vendors and models. If you haven’t been there in a while, your mind will be blown away at the changes! The renovations are beautiful. It’s a combination of a high end, sophisticated look with modern architecture and the classic natural beauty of the docks and beach, along the Bay. The backdrops for photography are endless! Side note: It’s also cool that I live 7 mins away. 😉

I’m so glad I was able to be a part of the next chapter of weddings at the Rod n Reel!

You cannot be a photographer without looking into the past. So, when I pause to reflect on my own memories that I have made with all of my clients over the past 17 years, it’s actually a bit overwhelming. I have thrived (and many times, barely survived) off of preserving your memories.

I have photographed joy and happy tears, and pain and sad tears, too. I have taken some of the first photographs of tiny humans and also photographed some people’s last. I have seen too many beautiful places and moments to count. To me, it’s not just a job, it’s a deeply meaningful role in every single one of my client’s lives, even if they don’t realize it at the time.

Thank you for allowing me to tell your stories for so long, you will always be a part of mine. 🙏🏻❤️
