With all these gloomy clouds and rain this week, all of a sudden, I am motivated to post this sunshine-filled day. ☀️

I’ve shot several hundred weddings but there was something special about this one. Maybe it was the fact that they were initially going to elope but their plans evolved into an intimate day with immediate family.

Maybe it was because they held it at the place where they’ve spent most of their lives escaping the city, to enjoy the shores and cliffs of the bay. Or because we spent the day hopping around cute historic cabins filled with character (I love character, just ask my husband!) 🙂 Or was it the views? For as long as I’ve lived here, I still can’t quite get used to looking down on the bay from cliffs.

The day was a whole vibe and I was happy that their family was able to experience it with them! 🩷

The weather was amazing, the family-created rustic details were perfect and the vibes were fun. Also, the tears were flowing but I’m always happy to see those, that means there is love. 🥲

Hard to narrow these down. We had a beautiful and special day with Charlie and Shann! If you knew the whole story and how we pulled off switching it from having several months to plan to just ONE, you’d appreciate it even more. 🩷

And let’s just be honest, the whole wedding was amazing but Bowen (dog) stole the show… lol. Just kidding… but he did make appearances just about everywhere. It was his day, too. 😜
