My sister Challenge Conventionis headed back home next week and she'll be doing a pop-up shop at our parents' house on Sunday, March 24th from 2-5. She makes the most epic pieces from vintage quilts.

Come by. Play a little dress up. Drink a pink wine. Aat a lil cheddar. Support a very cool small business. It'll be fun. I pinky promise.

How exciting! One of my long time clients has been slaying in the design world and today her home is featured in The New York Times.

A really fun project with my favorite brand

Meet one of the owners and head farmer at Single Thread Farms 🌻 California native Katina Connaughton and husband Kyle have been together since they met at 15. Katina began her first foray into farming while living in a rural agricultural community in Hokkaido, Japan. She continued culinary gardening on a Victorian estate property in England before moving to Sonoma to complete her coursework in Sustainable Agriculture and Horticulture. Katina was greenhouse manager for the Ag Program at Santa Rosa Junior College and has farmed at Davis Family Winery and The Barlow. Katina heads SingleThread Farm's five acre property, greenhouses, heirloom orchards, bee hives, and livestock as well as the foraging program and floral department.📸 .larsen.weaver

I love Long Form Sessions because they offer space for adventure AND intimacy.

Time to get bored AND time to get creative.

I am so grateful that folks let me into their days--their homes--their relationships--to bear witness. It is honor that I don't take lightly.

We need more love stories about staying in love- the falling part gets all the best movies and novels. But most of our lives are lived in the "ever after." How come we aren't talking about that?

I think what I like least about winter is the amount of clothing required to get kids out the door.

It's a real shame that the product of an outfit has got to be laundry.

Bring on swimsuit (or swim in your underwear) season. I'll take sandy floors over piles of clothing to fold any day.
