A little different from the kind of photography you’re used to seeing from me, but this was a fun and meaningful one.
Lady Hydrangea Vintiques is located in an old store building that has been in my family for generations. Built by the Bell family in the early 1940s, the site was once home to the Wampee Post Office, has served as a general store and antique store, and has since been home to a little bit of everything over the years.
In my eyes, it has always been one of Wampee’s unofficial landmarks — the kind of place you pass by and just know has a lot of stories behind it. So, it has been really special to see Tracey bring new life to the space through Lady Hydrangea Vintiques.
I had the chance to take some photos of the shop a while back and enjoyed getting to capture the building as it continues to be part of the community in a reimagined way. Tracey has done an amazing job filling it with character and giving people a reason to walk through those doors again.
Be sure to stop by Lady Hydrangea Vintiques and check it out!
