First off I would like to say thank you to all my wonderful clients who have put their trust in me to capture some of the most special moments in their lives. I’ve had the privilege to capture many seniors, family, engagements, weddings and so much more. And for that, I am forever thankful. As the years go by, I continue to grow and learn from every session. I see what works for me and what doesn’t. With that being said, this is what brings me to this post. After going back and forth I have made such a hard decision (emotionally). I will no longer be offering big event services such as weddings and quinceañeras. Weddings and Quinceañeras are so much fun to photograph and it has always been an honor to be part of. Every year my business keeps growing and it’s truly a good “problem” to have haha. But my family is also growing. They need more of me and my presence. Big events take a big chunk of my family time away from me and more often than not I have missed family gatherings to ironically spend time capturing other families, spending valuable time with their families. I don’t regret it for one second but it has started to affect me and my family with my absence.
Photography is not my full-time job. It’s my passion and biggest hobby. My husband and I are truly and fully involved in our kids day to day life and especially with sports. Taking them to and from practice, attending home and away games- needless to say our calendars are pretty booked at all times and If you’re a parent with kids in sports you most definitely get it.
It's not a goodbye to big events, it's an I’ll see you later. For now, I will continue to offer all other sessions and spend more time with my family. Thank you all once again
