Fall is hands down my favorite season for photos here in Chelan, the light gets unreal and the trees are about to turn. I've got a few dates open through October and they're going quick.

For 11 years, they’ve taken a photo together outside the flower pots at The Landing in downtown Chelan.

This year was the first time including their baby girl, Lily. 🤍

We started there, wandered through Riverwalk Park, and finished the session at Campbell’s Beach with bright spring light, lake breeze, and all the sweet little in-between moments that included sandy baby toes and wiping lipstick kisses off of chunky baby cheeks.

These are the kinds of sessions I love most; so relaxed, sweet and meaningful 🥰

One of my favorite parts of being a brand photographer is being surrounded by incredibly capable woman. Driven, passionate, dreamers, showing up in the world with what they have to offer. How lucky am I to hear their stories, see the roads they’ve walked to get here, and look ahead to the future they are imagining?

These are a few shots from a recent brand session with .kirawenzel . She absolutely nailed this shoot! I’m so excited for her as she launches her own business, working to coach executives in thier own leadership rolls, bringing the human element back in a world becoming saturated with AI. Love this 🤍

I always recommend bringing 3 solid looks to a brand session so you’re not stuck recycling the same photos later:

– an elevated look that feels polished and a little more put together (think website, profile, anything more formal)

– a casual, everyday look that feels like you on a normal workday

– a “working” look that shows you actually in it, laptop, coffee, tools, whatever makes sense for your business. This mix is what gives you a gallery with variety you can use everywhere instead of a bunch of photos that all feel the same.

Truly. I’m so blessed that this job allows me to build up others, while also giving me time to truly be here for my boys. Even if this is not how I imagined it would be, there is so much beauty here. I’m so lucky to be their mama. It’s so good for me to take a step back and breathe, to know all is well, and to look at the big picture and the 3 biggest “Why’s” behind what I do.
