Let us never forget the sacrifices that some made so that we can enjoy the freedoms which were provided to us in our Constitution. Freedoms are never truly free, and today we remember those that were willing to give everything in the mission of protecting those freedoms.

A couple of months ago I picked up a Nikon and I thought that this was a good point to do an intro review on it for all of you. And don't think for a minute that I have stopped taking photos outside of the motorsports world. There is going to be plenty of new content in the coming months, along with a huge project planned for 2021.

I honestly cannot like this subject matter and this series of photos enough. Yes, most of you will think that I am old and jaded. When you get old and you are looking back on your life, what do you want to remember? For me, it's her smile, her smell, her touch, her voice, and the things that brought me happiness. It's not going to be random selfies or worrying about how many likes I got. There has to be a balance, and not at the expense of your life and relationships, because in the end, when you are holding hands and staring at the sunset over the lake, the ocean, the bay, or the river, your phone isn't going to matter. So why does it matter so much now?

"Reflect"
As a photographer, my passion is to stop time and capture just that moment. Too often in life, we don't take the time to reflect on the times we've had or look forward on the times ahead.
If we stop ignoring the moments and take that split moment to reflect, it can change your outlook on what is ahead and what you have already experienced.
We are all given the gift of time, yet so many of us take that time for granted. When was the last time you just stood there and enjoyed the view that the sky gave us? When did you take that moment to reflect on what has been and what could be? Is your life a book, or is it just a list? If it is a list, maybe you should take a moment to reflect on what it is you are doing with your time here and adjust accordingly.
