Have y'all checked out Cotton’s Place “The Station” yet? They have a beautiful Christmas set up down there! Each year they put in so much hard work to decorate for all the holidays & they nail it every time! I will be renting this awesome place out for a day or two for sessions. They've also got some pretty tasty food in there as well, so be sure to go get you something after you get your photos!

Lets talk about G R O W T H

I took these photos over a year ago, it was my first maternity session. I was so excited to get home and work on these with my editing software.The software was new & I was still learning how to navigate around the features. I was so proud of what I did with them.

I like looking back on old photos to see what I can do different next time to improve my technique. I opened these up & looking at them I knew I wanted to take what I have learned over the past year & re-do these photos.

Every photographer has a style & most clients choose them based off how they "edit" their photos. If you like your photos light & airy then you won't pick a photographer that edits dark & moody. One year ago I hadn't found my style yet. My previous edits are beautiful but they do not reflect how I edit my photos now.

I love a dark & moody edit just as much as the next person, but its not my specialty. So I re-edited some old photos, & absolutely love the outcome. There is always something new to learn! Always find Y O U R style!

Oh sweet Raelynn, you have captured the hearts of everyone around you. I was so happy to finally see you outside of your mommies belly! We have anticipated your arrival since you tried to come into the world at only 28 weeks. Fortunately you held off until 38 weeks & you were 7lbs of pure sweetness!

It has been quite a while since I've posted. I've had to take some time away from photography due to a high risk pregnancy. I'm so glad to say that after probably 40+ OB appointments, maternal fetal medicine appointments, 11 hospital stays, & 2 emergent surgeries our baby girl has arrived. She was born premature & had a small NICU stay but we are all at home now & recovering well. I'm happy to be at home with all of my family. I'm also very happy to get back to doing what I love! Aside from being a wife & mother, of course!! There will be a lot of updates & new things coming this way very soon....stay tuned!!!
