I frequently get asked, “what’s your favorite thing to take pictures of?”

I think over the years it has evolved as I have gained more experience. From families and seniors, to couples, weddings and proposals and to even event photography (with the best—) it’s safe to say I love taking pictures of any and everything and I’m not sure if I’ll ever specialize in one thing or another. But this year in particular, I have shot multiple proposals and I LOVEEE them. Each one is so different, but equally as magical and special.

This one in downtown Chatt was a dreammm 🤩✨ These two dated in high school and found their way back to one another all these years later! I love love!

If there’s anything about photography that can be a downfall and extremely unpredictable, it’s the weather. Rain more times than not, is the enemy. However once in a blue moon the “bad” weather can sometimes be in our favor—or in the other words the bad weather in its most beautiful form can give an ambience to the photos that couldn’t be achieved otherwise. That is what happened for this proposal. Despite the relentless rain on the way up to Signal Point, the rain halted upon our arrival and a beautiful fog blanketed the forest. It was pretty beautiful—kind of freaking out about that black and white shot on slide 4😍

So here’s the take away if you’re a photographer :: go for it even if the weather looks terrible. You never know what might happen!

And of course, a big congrats to these two 💍🥳 and we love the puppies 🐶
