That Painter!!

What a bright and beautiful double rainbow, seen from the East Side of Jim Thorpe, PA!

I saw this just after a great conversation with a long-time friend of mine.

I was looking for a rainbow based on what I was seeing outside, and low and behold, it appeared!!
Who knew it’d be this bright and beautiful, and a double?!?
Many of us know Who knew! 😉

I quickly changed lenses on my camera, put on a polarizer, and began snapping a few shots.

After photographing this scene, we jumped in the car to try to get to other locations, but by the time we got to another place, it was gone.

Capture what you see right in the moment, before the opportunity is lost, especially with moments like these, when the conditions can change so quickly!

Then try other places, if you're so inclined or are able.

Did you know that the double rainbow, above the "original" (for lack of a better term), mirrors the original, and the colors are opposite, as they move outward?

Good morning!!

14 years ago today, I surrendered my heart and life to Jesus!

And my life hasn’t been the same, since!!! 🙌🏻❤️

My life was, and is, forever changed.
And it’s continual.

I will never forget this day, and the night that it happened.

I’m so grateful.

My worst day with Jesus is better than my best day without Him. ❤️

It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it.

And I know where I’m going when I leave the earth!

A scene from Minsi Lake.

What a great day.

Li'l D & I picked up and went there practically on a whim.
I had to get out of town for a bit today, for a bunch of reasons.

My photographer friend and I discussed this place, so off we went..

It's so beautiful. Trails, wildlife, peace.

And for me, this particular kind of scene reminds me of New England.

That’s not snow, either. Just the color of the water.

I did get some bird and other photos, as well as many scenes along the way there, and back, but I just didn't feel like going through them all tonight.

I could have spent hours just pulling off the side of the road, but in many places, it just wasn't safe.

Take the back roads.

D is exhausted! She came back, ate, and hasn't moved since she got on the couch after her meal.

We had snow flurries while up there, wind, and it was cold, but so beautiful. It was great to get to a place where we haven't been, and so, so much needed.

It was invigorating!

Enjoy your night in God's love, peace and care.

I'm out for the night!!
