Nicole and Alex’s wedding had it all. There was laughter, there was dancing, there were amazing people... and there was a lightsaber battle! What more could you want? This wedding was the perfect representation of their love and relationship and I couldn’t be more happy for them What a way to wrap up the 2022 season!

I like to think that I become friends with all of my couples, but sometimes I’m fortunate enough to spend a wedding day with with a friends I’ve known for years. Celebrating with Sydnee and Dan was an absolute highlight of my year. These two balance each other perfectly and are a total joy to be around! So many congratulations pals! I can’t tell you how happy I am for you!

Hey pals, it’s been a little while so I figured I should probably re-introduce myself with a few fun facts about me.

1. What did I want to be when I grew up?

I really wanted to be a medieval knight. Yup.

2. Favorite book?

Absolutely anything fantasy. Huge nerd. I’m currently re-reading the Wheel of Time series.

3. Do I have any pets?

Great question, Mike. I have two cats! Sophie (The Diva) and Everest (The Dingus.)

4. If I wasn’t a wedding photographer what would I be?

Well, if I couldn’t be a knight I’d probably run a plant-based food truck and gain all the pounds.

5. Favorite movie?

Easy. The Princess Bride. “Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya...”

6. Favorite part of my job?

I can’t believe I get to witness some of the most intimate and beautiful moments of my couples' lives.

7. Where do I want to be in five years?

What is this, a job interview? Honestly, I want to be right where I am, documenting amazing moments for even more amazing people.

And just like that, wedding season is upon us and WHAT a way to kick it off! Katie and Alex laughed and cried their way through the day and they weren't alone. There wasn't a dry eye in sight during the parent dances and my jaw still hurts from laughing at the toasts. So many congratulations Katie and Alex!!
