Colonial Williamsburg is full of so many nooks, crannies, and pathways I don't think I'll ever discover them all (and that's okay). 🗺 I'm so glad we braved the mosquitos and followed a mossy staircase up to this glowing alcove.

Making fellow industry friends is so fun, especially when we overlap in multiple communities. Carrington makes stunning and delicious vegan, gluten free, nut-free, and overall allergy-friendly desserts. For those of us lucky enough to eat anything, you'd never tell that any of the "traditional" ingredients were gone.

Anyways, if you haven't tried her baked goodies, you are missing out!! If my last dessert was one of these chocolate raspberry mousse shooters, I would die satisfied.

I am loving the custom embroidery shoe trend! I've seen custom wedding Docs, Keds, and now Converse. As someone who wore orthopedic sandals to her own wedding (they have pearls and look fancy!) I am all about mixing comfort with beauty.

Do they make custom Blundstones? Inquiring minds (me) need to know.

I am ALWAYS here for a friends-to-lovers story. Bring on your sappy romance story because I am dying to hear it. I am such a softy for a love story. These two met in college as friends, there were secret feelings, and then finally dating. Now, years later, Selena and Maison said "I do" in front of their friends and family.

Getting ready photos are some of my favorite documentary moments.

Whenever I think of "girlhood," I think about getting ready together. This is especially true when one wedding party member is doing hair, someone is fixing another person's makeup, and a 2010s pop hits playlist is blaring from a Bluetooth speaker in the corner. It reminds me of my high school friends who taught me to straighten my hair and who did my eyeliner before dances. The experience of "getting ready together" is (to me, at least) ingrained in friendship and community.

As adults, we're not often prepping to go out for a party with a group of other people. It's comforting to see this familiar ritual play out as someone pulls out the body glitter and another person plops in front of them, ready to be a canvas.
