It’s incredible to think that Christopher and princess pulled this wedding off in under two months. You would never have thought, because on their wedding day they were both so calm and at peace. Just being around the two of them you felt at ease. Their day was full of family, joy, butterflies, and some of the best dressed guest I’ve seen!

Last august I captured Elizabeth and Dylan’s wedding at old tavern farm. They were speaking a lot about the dinners they have had there in the past. Dylan is one of the lead chef’s at GRISETTE and Elizabeth is the manager there. Once I started seeing posts about their upcoming dinner, I asked Elizabeth if I could come and photograph it. I have been just craving to create just for the sake of creating. That’s what this summer has been about for me. Getting my hands dirty, filling the house with music, painting, sculpting, and bringing out my inner child with my toddler. I feel like as a creative and it being my job, my inner artist just wants to do something for fun. A big thanks to the team of GRISETTE for letting me come and follow you all around for the night!

Sallie & Scott— the stars were waiting for the right time for these two to find each other. Even a thunderstorm in the middle of their ceremony couldn’t stop the joy that was flowing. I loved capturing their story and their families blending together as their own.

Marry your best friend.. and that’s what Haley & Lauren did! It was the most beautiful breezy June day, on the cusp of summer equinox (and Haley’s birthday). We all gathered in the heart of D.C. to watch these two wed. Haley and Lauren, I adore you both. I love your love. It was an honor to capture this day and witness it! Thank you for your light and humor. This day was perfect (& the fact they had pizza at their wedding was the cherry on top.) Their reception was hosted at Haley’s childhood home. I felt like I was in a Nancy Meyers movie the whole day. Congrats to the brides!

D&E’s wedding was the perfect night. We were on the cusp of autumn. The sun was still warm, but the night got chilly enough for a fire. Their wedding was about gathering around the table and celebrating their love. It’s a day I still think about.
