Emily & Brady's words have echoed through my entire being since the moment I read them:
"You captured our heart and love so well."
Those words alone were everything I could ever hope to hear.
But then they said something that completely changed the way I think about what I do.
"We felt sad because the day went by so fast, and we weren't able to see everything or everyone... people opening handwritten cards, the details of the tables, and the pictures of my mom and brother during the ceremony."
That's when it hit me.
As photographers, we're on the outside looking in. While our couples are fully immersed in the biggest day of their lives, we're quietly witnessing the moments they can't. We see the tears they missed, the hugs happening across the room, the handwritten notes being opened, the nervous smiles before they walk down the aisle, and the tiny details they spent months planning but barely had time to take in.
When I deliver a gallery, I'm not just giving them memories of what they experienced. I'm giving them the chance to experience the parts of their wedding they never got to see.
For a moment, they're able to exist in two places at once—the wedding day they lived and the wedding day that unfolded all around them.
To me, that's what wedding photography is really about. It's not just preserving memories. It's giving my couples pieces of their story they never knew they were missing, allowing them to relive the day with fuller hearts and new eyes.

This one deserves a spotlight on the feed.

When it comes to engagement sessions, my goal is to encapsulate the feeling of your love. Almost as if I’m the director to your love story. I want to tell it how you live it. So anytime you want to you can visit that moment.

This May wedding came with many unexpected moments. Some I couldn’t stop smiling for, like the bride and groom portraits, others I teared up like the when the flower girls started walking down the aisle and others.. well (peep slide 3) I couldn’t stop laughing. During the bride and groom portraits, I turned around and nonetheless the guys were having their own photoshoot.

I don’t think 20 slides is enough to share the beauty, the love, and the art of an engagement session. Ivan and Jordan’s engagement felt like a page pulled straight from a Jane Austen novel: soft glances, quiet laughter, windswept moments, and a love that feels both timeless and deeply intentional. Every little detail carried so much tenderness and romance, the kind that makes the world around them slow down for just a second. The way they moved together so naturally, the gentle touches, the stolen smile, it all felt effortlessly poetic. Truly the kind of love story you could write chapters about.
