The Miss America Scholarship Foundation is thrilled to announce a new higher education partnership with Troy University in Troy, Alabama.

Through this partnership, all Miss America and Miss America’s Teen State Titleholders will receive a four-year renewable scholarship at Troy University covering undergraduate tuition, fees, and on-campus housing.

This opportunity will be available to Cycle 2027 (July 1, 2025–September 6, 2026) and Cycle 2028 (July 1, 2026–September 2027) State Titleholders, reflecting the organization’s continued commitment to expanding access to higher education through scholarship.

For out-of-state recipients, the award provides full coverage of tuition, fees, and on-campus housing, valued at up to $130,000 over four years.

I remember the elation that I felt the night she won talent at Miss America. I jumped from my seat and pumped my fist in the air and exclaimed YES!!! involuntarily. For as quiet as Carrie was, she had a voice as powerful as anyone and that night she showed it. I'm grateful to have been such a small part of her journey and was able to witness it. She did it all with grace and humility. She will truly be missed by many of us within the Miss North Carolina Scholarship Organization. We love and miss you.
