Believe it or not, Charlotte has received more than three inches of snow in only four winters over the past decade: 2015-16 (3.3), 2017-18 (4.2), 2018-19 (3.0), and 2021-22 (4.3).

The last time the city saw more than 10 inches of snow was during the winter of 2003-04, when the February 2004 snow storm dropped more than 13 inches. In the winter of 2013-14 (pictured below), we got 9.3 inches.

The most snow in a single season was over 22 inches during the winter of 1959–60, according to the National Weather Service.
