What I love so much about photographing kids this age is their personalities really show. Sometimes there are tears at the beginning of a session, but then there’s always so much contagious laughter. You also get to see relationships between kids and parents and it really is so special to be able to capture that.

This little guy was so much fun, so curious and always asking “what’s this?” He even got me running to keep up with him on his adventure. He was so sweet and at the end of our session gifted me with a leaf he found☺️
I am now starting to schedule shoots (family, engagement, & seniors). You can schedule a 1 hour session or 30 minute session, and you choose the location*. I do not limit how many final photos you receive! I will wear a mask and practice proper social distancing. Message, email, or text for more info!

Believe it or not, on the day of this session, dreary clouds covered the sky for most of the day. But, I think the sun somehow knew it needed to be out for this, because what a perfect sunny evening it ended up being.
I’m so grateful to have recorded this beautiful family in this season of their lives. They’re some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, and their love for one another shined just as bright as the sun.

Happy New Year!
I was fortunate to spend 2 weeks with my family in NC while my older brother was visiting the states from Japan, it’d been a year and a half since I last saw him! Got a couple shots of him and his girlfriend at our favorite spot on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
I hope everyone has a great New Year surrounded by the ones they love❤️

Why did I decide to become a portrait photographer? Each person shares a unique connection with one another, and I love capturing the raw moments of laughter and joy between them. Sometimes we can’t put into words how much we love a person, but nothing speaks louder than actions, and being able to freeze those moments in time is incredibly special.
