Before the rain chased us away, we managed to capture some pretty amazing moments. 🌧️🤍

About halfway through this senior session, the skies decided to open up. Normally I’m pretty good at guessing whether it’s worth taking the chance… this time, the weather won. 😂

Instead of calling it quits right away, we embraced it, danced in the rain a little, and made the best of it. ☔✨

So here’s Part 1 of this gorgeous senior session! We’ll be meeting up again soon to finish what we started. Sometimes you just have to roll with whatever Mother Nature has planned. 💛

Some things survive time.

Not because they’re untouched,
but because they’re loved enough to be carried forward.

The wood has been strengthened.
The ropes have weathered the years.
But this swing still holds the echoes of childhood laughter.

It once hung from my grandma’s favorite tree,
where cousins flew toward the sky believing nothing could ever change.

When her home was gone, my brother made sure this wasn’t.

And now, every time someone sits here,
they’re held by more than a swing.
They’re held by a memory.

Some moments are too beautiful
to be left behind a screen. 🤍

The tiny hands that once reached for the water,
the little feet that wandered through new textures,
the soft glow of golden light resting on a season
that passed far too quickly.

A childhood chapter written in quiet details…
little fingers, curious hearts, and days that felt endless
until suddenly they weren’t.

These are the memories we wish we could hold forever —
the ones that deserve a place on the walls of our homes,
where we can return to them again and again.

Because one day, these little moments
will be the biggest memories. ✨

I finally had the chance to check out this new location in person, and I am SO excited! There are so many beautiful spots to use that I’ve decided to add another evening of sessions.

These will be 20-minute sessions, and after seeing how the light falls, I’m able to start as early as 7:00 PM. That means more availability and gorgeous evening light!

Interested? Comment which day you’d prefer, and if enough people are interested, I’ll open that date and send you the booking link as soon as it’s ready.
