1 year ago we hosted our first meetup in 4 years, since shutting down during Covid.

We didn’t know if it would lead anywhere or if anyone would even show up.

But you did... And then you kept showing up!

Since our first meetup a year ago we’ve opened a studio, launched our memberships, hosted galleries, launched a camera store, thrown meetups across Charlotte, hosted our largest events yet, and gotten a front row seat watching friendships and Charlotte’s creative community grow every single week.

None of this happens without all of you!

To everyone who’s been part of this past year, who’s supported us, hired us for shoots, became a member, rented the studio, attended a workshop, hosted a workshop, shown up to our meetups, or bought a camera from us, Thank You! We’re just getting started and have a ton of stuff planned for the years to come!

All of our Upcoming Events for June!

📸 June 13th, 5-8pm: Join us for a meetup at our studio ! Come meet local creatives, build your portfolio, or learn about cameras! This event is free to attend and open to the public!

🎨 June 20th, 6-9pm: We are hosting our first ever Creative Exchange Event! Bring your art, photo prints, gently used clothes, and camera gear to trade with other creatives! We will be accepting trades for some of the items in our store, as well as offering in-store credit and studio time for other items. This event is free to attend and open to the public!

🎞️ June 27th, 10am-1pm: Join us for a Film Photowalk around South End! We will meet at our studio and make our way around South End shooting film! Don’t have a film camera? No worries! We have film cameras and (some) expired film available for purchase! This event is free to attend and open to the public!

🎧 June 28th, 1:30-4pm: Come out to to join us for a collab meetup with and (rescheduled from last month)! Come hang out, take photos, and enjoy live music provided by . This event is free to attend and open to the public!

Thank you everyone that came out to our 9th Anniversary Meetup and Gallery last night!!!!

9 years ago, CLT Shooters was just an Instagram account and a few photographers meeting up to shoot together.

Last night, the studio was full of people from all walks of life!

Photographers, models, friends, family, brand new faces, and people who’ve been with us from the beginning.

None of this happens without all of you! Thank you all for coming out and helping us celebrate 9 years of CLT Shooters!
