I never ever wanted to post this again. It's been a year since this last happened. Unfortunately, in that time we were never able to afford a phone or other tracking device for Serenity. After a year, we thought we could finally trust her to stay home, even when she got upset about anything or memories from her kidnapping experience in August 2022 started popping up again. She had been in counseling for it, and we had finally just gotten her dad's work schedule set with specific days off so she could start a more intensive counseling program. But unfortunately before we could contact her counselor, Serenity waited until I was busy taking care of Gracey and Riley's back was facing her while he was cleaning last night Friday May 17th 2024 and left the house. It was 8:30pm when we saw that Serenity was missing, and Riley discovered that Serenity had taken her grey backpack with blue trim that looks like a hiking backpack. When we had seen her she was still wearing her pink pajama shirt and pants, but she has probably changed her clothes at least once or twice. We have not received any calls from the police. When she had been missing for 12 hours this morning we called them and they said they didn't have any updates and would call when they did. SERENITY HAS BEEN MISSING 20 HOURS now and STILL NO UPDATES FROM THE POLICE and NO ONE HAS COMMENTED ON ANY OF MY POSTS WITH SIGHTINGS OF HER TODAY EITHER. 😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔 There is also a post in the Citizen app too but no sightings from today mentioned there either. 😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔 One person said this morning that they saw a young girl matching Serenity's description exactly at 10pm last night walking in the grass along University Blvd but they didn't know that she had been reported missing and kept driving. 😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔 Someone else thought they saw her around the same time going to the Harris Teeter in that area. I'm hoping and praying that she found kids and families to play with today because it's Saturday and that we will get her back today or tonight. But I'm extremely terrified for her safety and extremely worried that we haven't heard any updates from the police who have her picture and a be on the look out for her and are supposed to be looking for her while they're out working. PLEASE PRAY THAT WE GET OUR SERENITY BABY GIRL BACK REALLY SOON AND ALIVE AND SAFE!!!!! I'M SO SCARED!!! I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO H7G MY BABY GIRL AGAIN AND TELL HER HOW MUCH I LOVE HER! GRACEY, RILEY, AND HER DAD ALL WANT THAT TOO!!! WE ARE DEVASTATED WITHOUT SERENITY BACK HOME!!! IF YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO LIVES IN OR NEAR CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA PLEASE PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH THEM AND ASK THEM TO PLEASE GO OUT AND HELP US SEARCH PARKS AND PLAYGROUNDS FOR HER AROUND CHARLOTTE AND PROBABLY NOT TOO FAR FROM ROMARE BEARDEN PARK. WE NEED TO CHECK ALL AROUND THERE AGAIN TOO. AND BY CHECK FOR HER I MEAN YELL HER NAME AND SHOW EVERYONE HER PICTURE ATTACHED HERE AND ASK IF THEY SAW HER AND UF YES WHEN AND WHERE AND WAS SHE WITH ANYONE? IF ANYONE FINDS OUR SERENITY BABY GIRL CALL US IMMEDIATELY AND WE WILL CALL THE POLICE ON OUR WAY TO HER AND PLEASE STAY WITH HER UNTIL WE GET THERE!! HER FAVORITE ANIMAL IS WOLVES. SHE WILL HAPPILY TALK ABOUT WOLVES AND THE WILD KRATTS EPISODES LONG ENOUGH FOR US TO GET WHEREVER YOU FIND HER.
