Let’s go down memory lane! In 2014, the Carolina Jazz Concert Series brought in some top notch jazz artists to Charlotte. That was a busy year of enjoying some great jazz and snapping off some fun pictures of these artists. Taking photos of musicians began for me at the age of 15 years old and still today I love taking pictures of musicians and live music. Living the PhotoArtistic Life published on April 15, 2026 and I was excited to see one of my creations included! I have been practicing with Photoshop painting lately and created an "impressionistic" style portrait painting using this image. "Can't Get This Song Out of My Head" ... another successful recital at Music Quarters on 1/17/2026. Over 60 students performed and a great turn out of family friends to see them play. (I have a song that was sung by one of our vocalist, that I just can't get out of my head..."Ocean Eyes!" (You know who you are!!)
