Be bad at something new and keep doing it anyway. Give up then change your mind. Get mad, scream into a pillow.. then go to pottery class and throw a wonky pot.

It’s the human experience and ultimate purpose to continue the cycle of birth and death in nearly everything we do, and finding the confidence to endure regardless of circumstance will be your most powerful tool. When you feel stuck just remember you’re in the middle, and this part of the cycle is the where the most growth happens. Keep going 🌱

The second I got on the phone with Stephanie for the first time (which was literally 3 days before her wedding - wow 😂) we hit it off without missing a beat. I fell in love with this woman about as quickly I assume everyone else has, especially her man. I have the best damn job, and as deep I am in the dark abyss of editing literally thousands of images for the next 4 weeks - I want to take a moment and tell you *specifically* Stephanie, that I admire the s**t out of you. I watched you navigate the hurdles of your own wedding (and your clients weddings?!) so flawlessly, and I can’t tell you how grateful I am that you chose me.

SO happy to say I get to travel back to CA in just a few short weeks for fam time (and hopefully photo time?) in Southern CA AND heading up to Humboldt for a goals-ass elopement 😍😍😍 this piece of land has always had a lock on my heart, and had my life gone a different way I probably would’ve lived there forever.

Truth be told, Jackie & Gary planned 3 different wedding days. The first was rescheduled after getting news of their precious (and feisty as heck) little girl, the second because of Covid.. but thank god plan C was a success! We all had an amazing time, but I think the person who enjoyed it most of all was the bride. I can still hear her proclaim “I AM SO HAPPY” over and over again. Everyone she came into contact with that day had a huge smile plastered across their face. What a gift to see so much damn JOY.

2020 has shown us how revitalizing it is to have loved ones around us. That celebrations are incredibly valuable, and how the simple idea of a plan going well can bring so much happiness.
Congratulations J & G, you FINALLY made it to the altar!! ♥️
