Originally, I planned a solo self-portrait session for my birthday…
and it turned into something even more special.

I invited:
• for creative direction and she jumped behind the camera too
• for styling
• for the gold accents

And let me say — they ate.

Thank you all for helping me celebrate myself and pour into House of Edreece.
This shoot reminded me why I do what I do — and why I’m not slowing down.

Butterflies don’t become beautiful overnight.
They disappear for a while — to break, to rebuild, to remember who they are.

This year felt like my cocoon.
I was quiet.
Lost.
Second-guessing myself, my art, my pace… everything.
Imposter syndrome had me shrinking when I should’ve been shining.

But I’m stepping into the new year with new wings.
Grounded. Clear. More myself than I’ve ever been.

You’re about to see more of me and more of House of Edreece — consistently, fully, and unapologetically.

New art. New photos. New projects. New energy.

This Black History Month, I’m creating a photo series that celebrates the beauty, creativity, and resilience of Black culture. From fashion and hair to music, joy, and history, this project will showcase the richness of our heritage.

I’m looking for models of all backgrounds, ages, and styles to be part of this visual celebration! No experience is needed—just a love for the culture and a willingness to be in front of the camera.
