Let’s flip the question, because the secret to a truly beautiful celebration (after your love, of course) lies in the professionals you hire.

Recently, I took part in an amazing styled shoot for a new wedding venue in the Charlotte area . It’s a rare European-style space for our region, something that feels almost Italian to me - stone walls, tall pine trees that give air and depth to photos, a bright hall with giant clay pots, and an authentic bar that makes you feel part of history.

The florist’s work was incredible. Sofia is not only my friend but also one of the most talented and hardworking people I know. We came to America around the same time, and seeing her growth over the years inspires me deeply. Floral work is far from easy. Behind those beautiful arrangements you see in photos are long hours, physical effort, and endless details that few people notice.

And then the planner . After hundreds of weddings, I can say for sure that having a great planner changes everything. Their team handled communication, table styling, invitation design, and every small detail with elegance and precision. They also curated the most stunning wedding dresses for the shoot. The makeup was done by a lovely and talented artist who made every model glow.

And one more thing. Please support Sasha , the new content creator stepping into the world of wedding videography. She has strong experience in content creation and is now making her first steps in capturing weddings on video. I’m so excited to see her grow.

Today I officially finished my Advanced Digital Photography course at Harvard.

Honestly, I signed up for this course with my eyes closed — I had no expectations. I don’t even remember how I enrolled. And yet, today I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. First and foremost, to Greg Marinovich.

After the war began, I froze.
The photographer in me locked herself away. I stopped creating. I was still taking photos — but only mechanically. Just doing, not feeling.

I don’t know how, but Greg breathed life back into that hidden part of me.
I started dreaming about shoots again. Imagining. Feeling. Wanting to create.

Today I feel a little sad that the course is over —
but more than anything, I’m grateful. Because as a photographer, I’m just getting started.

Thank you to everyone who supported me and believed in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself.

There are moments when it feels like everything inside has been scorched. A part of the heart no longer aches—it doesn’t hope, doesn’t feel, just exists in quiet apathy. Only the shape remains, hollow but standing. And yet… it’s still there. Still beating. Still hoping. Still believing. Still whispering a silent prayer to live.

When the world feels vast and empty, when everything seems meaningless, a new day still rises. The sun comes up again.

And so does hope, however fragile. Even in exhaustion, it lives

When creating this photo, I was thinking about Ukrainians forced to move to another country. I tried to capture the feeling of being given “pleasure” in the form of a peaceful sky, where no one is trying to kill you for political reasons, yet being unable to fully enjoy it. The guilt, the longing for parents and loved ones, the struggle to speak freely in a foreign language, and the realization that this country sees you as temporary—you never know when you might be asked to leave.

But people see more in this image—different forbidden desires and constraints. And I like that.

This photo has been selected for exhibition at a gallery in London this March.

Throwback to an amazing art show by —still can’t believe I got to be part of it!

The best feeling as an artist is seeing people connect with your work, and it’s even more surreal when someone loves it enough to take it home. My piece “Motanka” was sold that night, and it honestly means the world to me. Sharing your art can feel vulnerable, but it’s also so important—it’s how we tell stories, spark emotions, and find our people ❤️

A huge thank you to all the incredible artists I had the honor of connecting with. Being surrounded by so much talent and creativity was truly inspiring. Grateful for every opportunity to put my work out there and for everyone who supports it!
