Vacations are better when you bring your pet 🤭🇰🇷

Still thinking about all the fun we had in South Korea last month! Whether you visit Seoul, Busan, Jeju, or Jeonju, you can rest assured that there will be plenty of things to see and do 🐾

Eating out with a furry friend was stress-free once we discovered the pet-friendly search option on NAVER and so many sightseeing spots allowed pets, even some indoor museums and photo spots. Local markets were also one of our favourite spots to look around and eat and many of the vendors would stop us to excitedly wave at Reinhardt 🥺

On days where we wanted to escape the midday heat, we visited many of the pet-friendly malls including three of the Starfield locations (Suwon was the best imo) and Hyundai Department Stores.

Visiting pet stores in Korea was also an experience all in itself because of the range of products and accessories available for pets. I got matching outfits with Reinhardt and test drove several pet strollers which was super fun. I even found these lickable ball treats that were perfect to use while we rode the trains or even on planes, and my only regret is that I only bought one bag 🥹

There are so many good things I could say about South Korea when it comes to its pet-friendliness, but you’ll have to visit yourself to truly appreciate it 🙂‍↕️

Take this as your sign to bring your pet to South Korea 🇰🇷😺🐕

Spending time together during our travels is always a main focus, and while in Korea I found I could hang out with Reinhardt for the entire day. There were endless restaurant and cafe options that allowed pets to dine with you. Even when it came to sightseeing we were able to visit several museums, parks, trails, monuments, and food markets that all welcomed pets.

It was also so refreshing to be in a space where the norm is for pets to be pampered. We never got weird looks for using a pet stroller or while trying to take cute photos together in matching outfits. Pets are treated with tons of respect and the pet etiquette is no joke!

Not every country is as pet-friendly, so take this as a reminder that South Korea is winning in more areas than just skincare and Kpop 🤭
