Another band from the Tosco Music Party. A lot of great music that night with great musicianship! This band though made an impression, check out “Back to Your Body” on Spotify- I don’t know if they intended to allude to a meditation technique in the style they play but it works, sounds great and the message is timeless. Even more than that, these guys took the time to talk after the show. They were more than just nice guys, they were genuine, sincere, and made at least one new fan that night! It was a reminder to not be in such a hurry in life and to appreciate those that support and create art in Charlotte! Thanks for the merch guys! I hung the poster right next to my girlfriends motel-esque generic ocean painting (shh just don’t tell her I said that)

After photographing the Tosco Party, I just had to meet some of these bands! Everyone was incredibly nice but a few bands stuck out. This was one of them. As a musician as well, I was fascinated by all the diversity Charlotte has. Definitely check out Bakalao Stars when you can, I know I will be doing just that!

I have always been a blues guy at heart. Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Albert King, Buddy Guy, and so many more. Seeing Pat Mother Blues Cohen at the Tosco Music Party was a highlight and also, just look at this amazing person and performer! Go Ms. Pat!!
