Our dog, Theo (the black and white one), received a cancer diagnosis back in February of this year. We've had him since he was 2 years old and Tyler adopted him shortly after we started dating. Now, at 10.5 years old, watching him slowly decline has been one of the hardest things. As of right now, he's been managing really well with medication, but we know that won't last forever. Going into this and having an animal care background, I felt confident that I could handle it and that I could make the decision when the medication was no longer working for him. Turns out, it doesn't matter what background you have - this stuff is just HARD. I'm very thankful for the photos that took for us this summer. It's so nice to have this family photo with our two "dadoos" (as our daughter Juniper calls them! πΆπΆ)
