Pulled out some different focal lengths when the sun went down and it was a partyyyyyyyy ⚡️🥂❤️‍🔥📸🪩

Loved having a 16mm for this dance floor mixed with my tried and true 28mm-70mm! I think it made the individuals of A + J’s guests even sweeter.

These love stories are the ones that came together to help write and and will continue to nurture this sweet couple, and I think just as important to capture them on the few occasions they’ll all be in the same room, like a wedding.

Investing in the photographer who is invested in you truthfully means investing in someone who is deeply committed to telling the entire story of how you came to be one, which includes all of these love stories, too. And a little biasedly, but it is also a great gift to your guests cause look at these fun pics they got out of coming to celebrate you and staying on the dance floor 😏

Also a note to anyone who doesn’t see their wedding or session right away on their photographers feed, these babies tied the knot almost a year ago and every single one of these images has been waiting to see the light of day in my camera roll since August of 2025 🤷🏽‍♀️ felt inspired today, and now you can see them 💌

C + J wanted to stay in CLT for their engagement session and I knew just the place ☁️

We had an incredible Saturday morning together, the weather was immaculate and we all just kept saying what a perfect day it turned out to be, clouds and all, and that ladies and gents— ultimate compliment. Can’t wait to do it again in just a little more than a year with these two!

I was about to blow my story up with these but then I thought “my mother is going to be so stoked if I make an insta post today” so thanks for the constant motivation, ma 🫩

and no sleeping on a morning vibe at , it was perfect and although I can’t attest to how the espresso martini tasted (thank you sweet summer child of mine), my Diet Coke with a lime was as always, crisp.

So I thought maybe I could do a 2025 wrapped because I loved looking through everyone else’s…. And then I realized half of the fight of me posting on insta is analysis paralysis and never being able to chose just a few photos to share. So, as one does who’s plagued with ADHD, I started looking through my photos from the year to make a post and got completely distracted and inspired by something totally off task and different- photos and film from my travels this year 🤗

And you’ll be delighted to know that paralysis analysis couldn’t touch me once I started making this post because I just selected most of them and made them tiny so I could fit more. I am quite pleased with myself right now ✈️

As the winter chill settles over my skin, I find myself breathing in slowly and deeper and refocusing from the post fall chaos. I mean seriously yall, there’s no way to explain how it feels. You just survive it and hope you’ve not formatted any SD cards improperly 😂

So over the coming months you’ll see plenty of what I was up to over the last few. For now, I’d like to reminisce on the places I was able to travel and some of the photos I took along the way that had nothing to do with weddings, that made me feel very strongly. About what? I think nothing and everything at once. But there are so many beautiful things to photograph outside of veils, tablescapes and curated stationary that keep teaching me how to tell a story through photographs. Finding inspiration outside of my niche and challenging myself to bring back elements I learned while I was away to further push the boundaries of my wedding photography.

That, and, I just realized that with baby girl on the way— we will not be flying to California 100 times this year and I am already feeling FOMO about it 🫩

So anyway, here’s a cozy Sunday post to show proof of life, say hello, and to show off some photos I didn’t get to post yet because they have nothing to do with weddings at all ☁️
