Big news is meant for late at night, right?
My little camper Photo Booth is officially sold. (Still sounds weird saying that!) It’s very bittersweet right now but sit back and I’ll fill you in on why.
In 2020 after being a stay at home mom for 4 years I wanted to get back into photography again. I figured it would take a couple of years after taking time off to build my business back up. I started shooting again that summer and in the late fall I found this camper I wanted to turn into a Photo Booth. It was a little dream come true to work on it with my husband with hopes to rent it out starting in the spring.
Little did I know, my photography job wouldn’t need “a couple years” to build back up. It was as if someone flipped the open sign on one day and it hasn’t slowed down since. A true dream of mine to capture your weddings and families with my camera that I never really knew if I’d be able to accomplish full time in this little town. Building my photography back up the same year as starting the Photo Booth though made me realize how little time I had for the Photo Booth. I never had the free time or availability to pour into it like I wanted and turn 80% of inquires down from having no time to deliver it, clean it, work it, repeat. I do feel as though it’s a touch of unfinished business and a dream that is a little unfulfilled never seeing its true potential but I also look at why that is and it’s from a thriving photography career. I’m right where I’m supposed to be and what brings me the most joy. It’s going to make me happy to see me pass the keys to a local in Charlevoix who plans to pour into it the way I didn’t have time for. You’ll still see this camper around town and I wish her all of the success and know she will soar.
With all of that said, I really can’t thank you enough if you ever hired us to add fun to your party! It was an adventure I’ll never forget 🤍
