Strolling the streets of Charleston with these two felt like stepping into a love story already in motion.

Rainbow row houses, quiet morning light, palm trees swaying, and the sweetest kind of laughter that you cannot fake. It was effortless. It was joyful. It was them.

They get married very soon, and if their wedding day feels anything like this session, it is going to be something truly special. The way he looks at her. The way she leans into him. The way they just fit.

Charleston gave us the most romantic backdrop, but the real magic was in the in between moments. The hand squeezes. The giggles. The dip in the middle of the sidewalk like no one else existed.

Emily and Dauton were such a joy during their Birmingham engagement session 🤍

We spent the evening laughing, talking through their wedding day plans, and soaking in the timeless beauty of Birmingham’s gardens and classic architecture. There is something about that soft greenery against historic stone that just feels refined and romantic every single time.

These two made it all feel effortless. Easy smiles. Genuine laughter. The sweetest kind of connection.

I always say engagement sessions are about more than photos. They are about slowing down long enough to enjoy this season together before the big day arrives.

Part one, because this wedding deserved more than twenty photos.

Set in the most beautiful grounds at Mathew’s Manor, this day was filled with bold summer light, lush greenery, and moments that asked to be lingered on. Every path, every corner, every quiet exchange felt intentional and unhurried.

From the private garden setting to the way they moved through the day together, this celebration was rooted in connection. Joyful, present, and full in the best way. Some wedding days simply refuse to be rushed, and this was one of them.

I am officially over this cold weather and so ready for days filled with beautiful greens again 🌿

Hayden and Colton’s wedding day at Gore Creek is making me count down to spring & summer weddings already. Even with rain in the forecast, their day was overflowing with joy, emotion, and the kind of love that makes everything else fade away. Clear umbrellas, heartfelt vows, happy tears, and the sweetest celebration surrounded by all the lovely greens.

This day was such a reminder that love shows up beautifully no matter the weather. Hayden and Colton, your wedding will always be one of my favorites.

This Gore Creek wedding was so much fun.

The bride was pure main character. Soft veil moments, blue florals, effortless beauty, and the kind of presence that made every frame feel like a movie still. The entire day felt gentle, emotional, and so much fun!

Every hug, every glance, every quiet moment felt intentional and full of love.

And then the groom came in with the perfect plot twist. Hilarious, full of energy, and absolutely committed to the fun. The Superman lift with his groomsmen? Iconic. The exact balance this day needed.

Romance, joy, laughter, and real connection all wrapped into one perfect Gore Creek celebration.
