That’s what I love about couples sessions in downtown Charleston. We can follow the pretty streets, pause when the light catches us, and make photographs that feel like the two of you—not a checklist of poses.

The ironwork. The old brick. The pastel walls and weathered shutters. The way the light falls through the trees and somehow makes an ordinary sidewalk feel like it belongs in a story.

I think one of my favorite parts of photographing in Charleston has been learning to notice all of the little details that make this city feel like Charleston.

And I have a feeling I’ll never run out of beautiful corners to photograph here.
