I truly believe the best photos happen when there’s trust between a couple and their photographer and Victoria and Morgan are an example of that!

Throughout their wedding day, thunder was rumbling in the distance, weather forecasts were constantly changing, and there were several moments when I had to make quick judgment calls. Knowing that Victoria trusted my vision and experience made everything feel seamless. Somehow, we managed to finish all of their major portraits just before the skies opened up with a torrential downpour.

More than anything, I’m grateful for couples like these two. They are incredibly kind, genuine, and so clearly in love. The real deal.

Thinking back to this beautiful day at the Gaillard Center in Charleston, SC 🤍

There’s something about being around creatives who truly love what they do. Personally, I’ve spent so many hours watching tutorials, researching, and refining my craft, but the journey can feel a little lonely at times. Being in a space like this reminded me how important it is to have people around you who get it. People who encourage you, challenge you, and help you see things you might miss on your own.

Dr. Stamey incoming… 🍾🩺

Loved photographing this classic beauty as she’s stepping into her next chapter after matching into an OB/GYN residency at the University of South Carolina.

She incorporated her grandfather’s vintage medical textbooks into the session, including an original copy of Gray’s Anatomy, which made it feel extra special.

I met Mary Catherine when she worked in Admissions, and now seeing her step into this season feels so full circle. So beautiful, smart, and capable 🤍

Madison said yes!! So excited for these two!!

Both Daniel and Madison are in med school, and Daniel said that he spent his gap year saving up to buy her a ring 🥹. He also put so much thought into the proposal and wanted a stunning, personal backdrop, which is why he chose the fountain at Tattnall Square.

We’ve hit grad season running here at , and I’m excited to start sharing more Mercer University graduation photos from this season.

These cherry blossoms made the perfect backdrop for Jillian’s Mercer grad photos. Hard to believe it was around 50 degrees that day.

One of my favorite parts of photographing college senior sessions is getting to know each grad and hearing about their post-grad plans. Jillian really impressed me and was the absolute sweetest. I’m excited to see what she accomplishes next.

Loved these black and whites of Piper and James at the in Charleston from February!

Spring busy season is in full swing, and I’m loving seeing leaves back on the branches again. I almost forgot they existed. It feels like everything is coming back to life, and there’s something really hopeful in the air.
