I didn’t get a chance to properly post this AMAZING shark teeth/megladon teeth expedition (because of a super busy back to school, intense work week, and all the normal LIFE stuff). Taking a moment now to sort through, admire and appreciate our treasures.

Being a collector is so fun! Some of my greatest earthly treasures are: rocks, fossils, minerals, feathers and sand samples.

I love our life! So grateful for friends who enjoy our adventures as much as we do! Thanks for joining us on the long drive out of town on this very, very rainy day~it was so fun! (Side note~check out Cris’s boat charter company for local harbor cruises, shark teeth adventures and more+ ).

Another AMAZING dinner at Indaco! Had so many great dishes last night~the Tagliatelle is my absolute favorite (and nobody makes it better) especially with that beautiful egg! Loved the new eggplant & artichoke dish, and we devoured in mere minutes~the shish*to peppers! 👏👏👏

We have several favorite restaurants around town, but this one is extra special! BIG thanks to the entire Indaco Team (and especially my favorite GM ) for always making fantastic food that warms the soul, bringing your best every single service and for always making us feel at home!!! 🍽🍝💯

Tonight we ordered all the things!!!

Amazing time with family & friends, beautiful evening in our sweet little city, and a throw down, good spread of sushi! Thanks to the entire O-Ku Team, y’all are always so kind and make us feel more special than we are! Love this place. (And that Fried Cauliflower…is delishhh)!

11 years ago today, I took this photo of my Grandma Loretta while we made her famous cabbage rolls (they were a family favorite). It was a hot summer day, and we worked in her little non air conditioned kitchen. I loved learning things from her. Gardening, cooking, canning, baking, caring for others and the responsibility of community service.

Most often we spent our time together in silence, sharing time and space. I learned the art of listening and appreciating quiet moments from her. I miss those summer days.

These are the treasures that I hold dear. ❤️

Zero Restaurant. Chef Vinson Petrillo~I don’t understand how you don’t have a James Beard Award yet…because your talent, creativity and dedication is unparalleled.

It’s always a such a special treat when I get to enjoy dinner at my best friends restaurant. It is literally one of my favorite places on earth. The moment I walk through the gate, I feel transported into a magical place (every single time)!

BIG thanks to the entire staff, our dinner experience was perfection!
