Waylon - our 48.8lb bird retrieving machine from Pawleys Island Gun Dogs. Will be 4 months next week. Thanks to our village for continuing to make sure we have access to build this bird dog - Linda C. Garrett and Janet Boggs.

No longer biting us and a lot more snuggly. Got to snuggle with both Stella (photo’d) and Merle on the big bed this weekend.

One day I’ll edit the photos in my camera but last few times I’ve only taken my cell phone so I’m more present. I hope I don’t regret it later because he’s growing so quickly. This was his slowest growth week at only 2.5lbs.

I got my first “real” camera after losing my first dog as an adult so I would have tons of good photos of any future dog...

I got my first “real” camera after losing my first dog as an adult so I would have tons of good photos of any future dogs and started taking photos for others to have the same comfort. It’s another type of sad when someone else’s dog you photographed passes away. I’m honored to have taken this pointing photo of Victoria owned by my good friends at for a nice tribute to her in . Victoria (Poobah) paved the way for so many other in the field and was a true character. She is greatly missed.
